Dear Trevor & Sarah,

Thank you for making Kokonut Hut available to us! What a blessing!! We have had wonderful times as a family finding shells in the early morning, swimming and building sand castles in the day, grilling steaks eating shrimp at evening sleeping peacefully at night.

Refreshing, healing, strengthing, relaxing, relationship building, peaceful, happy, fun... describe our time!

The timing could not have been better. We needed this God provided! Thank you again.....so much!

Staying at the Kokonut Hut has been a wonderful experience.

We are glad you gave 9 high school graduates a chance (unlike everyone else). I just waant you to know we slept soundly until the middle of the day EVERYDAY. We then would eat lunch and swim in the nery nice pool. I love the pool. It is quite nice.

One day we even caught 5 jellyfish, with our hands. They were outside a few days so I hope nothing smells too bad. We celebrated the name Kokonut Hut by wearing coconut bras around....even the boys. We eventually released the jelly fish at 2:45 am. We probably spent more time playing PS2 than actually at the beach.

But when we were at the beach it was glorious because we scootered there. If you didn't know, The shower has a very loud squeeking sound when its on. You get used to it, its loud.

Thank you! This was very good! We loved it here Very peaceful. The owners are great! If you have kids, get the golf cart, it will help! It was very peaceful here. Beware of the jellyfish! Ice works well! Trash is Tuesdays and Fridays. If you miss Tuesdays, you can talk the trash guy into taking it on Friday. We had 10 people staying here and everything was wonderful. Thank you so much for letting us stay here at the Kokonut Hut. It was relaxing and peaceful. The pool was cool and the house was cool. We went to the beach every day. While we were at the beach we found lots of blue jellyfishthat could really hurt you. Wee also found crabs. We will look forward to seeing you again.

Our trip was wonderful but we did have a few suggestions - The furnace closet needs a lock to keep young ones out. There really needs to be a smoke detector in the In-laws suite!! Also, we couldn't find the light for the back porch. Other than that this was our best family vacation. Thanks, so much!

Had a wonderful time here at Destin! Been to Paradise Island in the Bahama's, this beach is as nice or nicer.The house was great - Accomodates 2 families of 5 perfect. Thanks for a great week!

The Kokonut Hut was like totally radical dudes. This sweet chik-o stick huttle was the flyest crib ever! It was better than a fry skillet bacon strip side order of wedding cake on a platter with icing and flower candy! But I wish it came with a pool boy...*,wink*~(Jamies idea)

Suggestions:

1) Move the TV further away from the front door.

2) Need a bigger fancier sign to make it look awsome for 1st impressions.

3) You should get a tank in here so you/the guests can keep hermit crabs/ fish.

Kokonut Hut

Great Place, goes without saying. Weather: Heat index M - Thu 105* - 110* HOT

Location: (Strategic) and very easy to move about.

Furnishings: Well apointed and a very pleasnt surprise.

Suggestions: 1)Ceiling fans

                   2) Line Lighting (recessed)

                   3) White Lights in trees and possibly bushes

                   4) Driveway - difficult widen if possible

Rating: 8.5 out of 10

Bottonm Line: Clean and works well with what is needed.

***** Lights in the trees does sound like it would be nice...I'll think about that one! Also, the outdoor ceiling fan for the back screened porch is another good one, suggested by others as well. Perhaps when the reservations slow down, I'll install that fan. Great suggestion!! -Trevor *****

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for 2 families. The guest house made a perfect space, so as not to rattle each others nerves. Loved the pool. We enjoyed perfect weather weatherfor the entire week. This was a trip to remember and a perfect "last summer fling". We are all so sad its over. Thank you so much to Sarah and Trevor for making this a stress free vacation! I wish we had 7 more days. But alas we must get back to reality!

Thank you we had an awsome time.

The weather was awsome (but very hot!) We went to the beach almost every day, and the pool every day The snorkeling was great (except there was alot of jellyfish)! The house is great, but here are some suggestions to make it better.

Suggestions:

1. A light in the living room.

2. A fan in the bunkbed room

3. Trim the bushes to get the car in easier

4. the showers are loud

*****Thanks Brianna for your feedback! I'll have to label all those light switches and dimmers in the living room. As a matter of fact I bet guests would find it helpfull for the switches to be labeled in all of our homes. Thanks! Bunk room fan is in closet. We removed ceiling fan because, well, bunk beds and ceiling fans are a bad match! Also, thanks for reminding me about the loud shower! We replaced the shower heads with nice new ones. Problem solved!

      We all had a really great time. The weather was really chilly when we arrived but warmed up a little toward the end of our stay. This was our first Christmas away from home, and we will all remember what a great time we had. My younger brother got engaged to his girlfriend on the beach Christmas Day as the sun was setting. (How romantic!!) We are excited to have her join our crazy bunch. Can'y wait to come back in July. Thanks again.

The Kokonut Hut was the perfect beach house for our vacation! The seven of us fit nicely; our parents stayed in the "bungalow" so that us kids could stay up later without disrupting them. The weather was extremely nice the entire trip! It was great to be able to come home to a cool house and a refreshing pool. The whole beach house is beautifully furnished and very well equipped! This was one of the best vacations if not THE BEST trip, we've ever been on!! All together we had an amazing time and were very impressed. Thanks you so much! Back to Pennsylvania we go!!! Ah....good times Good times.

This was our first trip to Destin; and won't be our last.

House was perfect for a large family on vacation.

Results of this trip are as follows:

4 Sunburned backs

5 Henna Tatoos

1 pierced belly button

1 cooler full of Mackerel Red Snapper

Some advice for future vacationers:

1)Men - Half day fishing trips take all day. Tell your wives that you'll be back when come back.

2)Johnny O. Quigleys is your best friend. Visit each day of your trip and visit often.

3)Apply sunscreen twice as often as the label says if you are the type that burns

4)The cart is essential for moving kids and their stuff back and forth to the beach. If you didn't get it, call Trevor & Sarah immediately.

5)If you are in the mood for BBQ and Google Jim and Nicks, you will get their corporate PO Box in Destin. They (the restaurant here you will have to pick up your Q) are all in Sandestin.

We too had problems with the power in the "in-laws suite" but after your quick fix all was well.

Great Thanks to the Ladner Family for their beautiful home!!

Our Families had a great experience here. The home, pool, beach, ocean.... what more could you ask for?

This was our 1st time bringing our children to the ocean & we couldn't have asked for a better environment to do so.They have become quite the little "beach babes" and have every bit of our stay.

FYI: We fixed the hose with duct tape. Also we had an accident on the back porch where a couple nails were sticking up. May want to beat them down a little :-).

Otherwise, we plan to see you soon because we greatly enjoyed our stay & can't wait to return.

Thank you for having us in Kokonut Hut. We had a great time. We got here just in time for the first hurricane of the year, so the start was rocky. But the pool saved the day. We like the improvement in the showers and the new place for the Golf Cart. This is our second time staying here this year and we hope for many more to come. The beach was absolutely awesome after the storm passed. Thanks you again we had an amazing time here

Thanks! We had a lovely albeit cold, vacation! My youngest was married about two blocks away from the beach the golf cart was their "get away" car! Too Cute!

Other than some minor things, everything was perfect. My only negative was the bedroom carpet.

What an amazing surprise to be able to find this home on our way through Destin. The weather was great but I knew the gulf wasn't going to be enjoyable since there were wind storms out there. I wanted a pool to enjoy with my husband and kids and was searching the web as we were passing thru.

We have enjoyed the pool and fun golf cart. Now I want one at home for fun. This was a great ending to our Disney vacationon our way back to Oklahoma.

Maybe when we come back the gulf will be calm.
